Spokane Dictionary

Spokane is the westernmost dialect of a Salish language continuum extending form Montana to Washington State. Sister dialects are Kalispel and Flathead. The dictionary is in two parts. The Spokane-English section lists as main entries lexical affixes and roots, these followed by derived forms and English translations. In the English-Spokane section English words are followed by derived forms, with references to roots and lexical affixes.
